More Fun and Games: NLOS Cannon Game

Have you guys seen this on discovery.com? It's a part of their future US weapons series, called the no-line-of-site cannon (NLOS). It's a challenge game to see how many enemy items you can blow up. I like the sound effects. I spent the weekend playing and finally got through all 15 rounds, with a score of 171,700.

It won't let you choose an elevation of 90 degrees.

186400, got through all 15 levels, on my 3rd or 4th try. I guess I have a good eye for arcs.

I played something similar to this a few years back and it was more fun since it was 2-player and you try to get each other...

Yes... I remember the two person game... a bit better...

This one seems VERY slow... took me a long time to get through one game... but screwed up on I believe level 10 or 12... did not try again...

Made it through on the first try, but only got a score of 166,000 or so.
Used up my spares a few times playing successive approximation.

Being ignorant of military hardware, what is supposed to be new about this weapons technology? Looks like simple ballistics to the untrained eye.
