...just heard John Donahoe, eBay CEO in an interview say "people are buying 8,000 cars a week on eBays mobile app" and "we'll do over $20 billion dollars of mobile commerce and $20 billion dollars of mobile payments volume this year [2013] and that's closing on a mobile device, so the shift in consumer behavior is enormous."
I never would have imagined people would transition to doing transactions like this on smartphones and tablets so fast. Amazing! And presumably it will only accelerate from here...
Mobile may be as transformative as the Internet, PC, mini-computer, industrial revolution, electricity, etc.
