Motivation, Inspiration, and Education

For me it was definately the chemistry set! I soon discovered that you couldnt get into much trouble with it. So off to the library then later to the drug store for the good chemicals... then ordering glassware and having it delivered to the house via Railway Express (remember them?).

It wasnt cool to tell kids in school that you played with a chemistry but I found out that my new best friend also loved chemistry, and he was playing with condensers!!!!!!! I couldnt afford a big condenser but his dad was a doctor and the chemistry set budget was awesome. You can see where this is going.

But it started my love for science (and alcohol?) but I didnt like math until my uncle gave me a "Math Games" book. That got me going, but not nearly as much as my high school Trig. teacher Miss Garcia...WOW

JG,

Actually, I found out that I could be paid very well for doing something that I loved to do.

Before I ERed, I loved sex, motorcycles, fishing and hunting
(not necessarily in that order) :). Never figured out how to be paid
very well to do these things. In fact, they all cost a lot of money in
the long run. :)

Then you obviously didn't explore a career in movies! ;)
