It's really bad. My son's gf is in Iowa City, she tried to get out and back to her folks here in N-IL, afraid that they would lose power and water, but so many roads are closed, gas stations are packed, etc, she bought some water/food and is staying put. Her apt is high up, no direct danger, just all the infrastructure and general panic concerns.
