National Payroll Week

National Payroll Week September 5-9, 2005

National Payroll Week celebrates the hard work by America 's 156 million wage earners and the payroll professionals who pay them...

http://www.nationalpayrollweek.com/

As a new retiree, I realize that for the first time I will be on the outside looking in on this particular celebration. Suppose this is one more of those "adjustments" I'll need to navigate.

Maybe I'll go fishing to take my mind off missing out.

Re: National Payroll Week

Can you tell us what you did to celebrate when you were still on the inside?

Yes I can, but I don't think it would be appropriate to do so. Your beaver might be listening and I don't want to be accused of contributing to the delenquency of stuffed animals.

OK, Al, you win. To celebrate National Payroll Week, we would all gather in the cafeteria and sing this song:

(Be sure to cover the beaver's ears.)
