Neil Young.

He puts out a CD suggesting that Bush be impeached and nary a sound about this damn Canadian?

Tin Soldiers and Nixon coming

Four Dead in Ohio.

He wants Obama (hope I got the name right) or Powell to replace Bush?

Neil said he would not have written the song, waiting for a 20 something to do it, then realised those of us that lived in the 60's still have the moral conscience.

Haven't heard it yet. How is it?

Be hard to beat "Ohio," though.

Re: Neil Young.

I don't have the CD yet but they printed the lines from some of the songs in our national Paper.

Neil has lived in the US for 40 years, has great respect for the culture and its' people, he just feels very strongly that many of the Principles upon which America was founded are being ignored and that Bush has done a great deal of harm to the country, that many others would be much better leaders.

I , at times, think Neil is carrying on the tradition of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger, a position once occupied by Dylan, until he sold out to the system.

Okay, I'll say it, Damn Canadian! Trouble is, he may have a point. The further trouble is that I don't see too many others I want instead. Dylan didn't sell out, he just got old. I can relate to that.

Re: Neil Young.

I've been wondering the same thing, some moms protesting, very few young ins. It seems like the silent majority does not like this dirty little war, but is not too vocal about it. Maybe they will be heard in Nov. Cracks me up when they put some wacko on TV saying we are fighting over there to preserve freedom here. How the heck does that reasoning go anyway? Could see it with Afghanistan maybe, but Iraq? I have a step son who was there and will be going back, so I'm prejudiced. Get out now! shredder
