Never did it, not even once

I was listening to a sports talk radio show host the other day and he mentioned that he has never eaten a waffle.

So, the question is: what have you never done that is quite common and simple and accessible to most other people? Let's use the forum members as our universe as we refer to "most other people".

I will go first:

I have never ironed anything.

I have never seen (let alone tasted) spam (the kind people eat).

One person I asked said she had never jumped off of a diving board (but, had jumped off of the side of pool. And, yes, she knows how to swim).

I have never:

1) watched a ball game in a stadium or a court. Not even in HS. On TV, yes, for about 2 minutes at a time.

2) played a card game (do not even know how).

3) played roulette, or any game in a casino. Got bored with slot machines after losing about $10 worth one time.

4) smoked pot or anything other than cigarettes. Quit the latter a long time ago.

5) run in a marathon, or participated in any rally. I like to hike or do physical activities alone.

6) been to any concert. Well, there were a couple of times, in my teens.

7) hunted, though I have several guns and like target shooting.

8) owned a dog. Actually, I did once, but it ran away after 2 months. So I stayed with indoor cats.

9) attempted to play golf.

I will think of some more...

10) been to a strip club.

11) hired anyone to mow my lawn, or to clean my home.

12) eaten a raw oyster. Must be grilled first. Never a mackerel, though I eat sardine regularly.

I have never had a cup of coffee. Tried one sip once, decades ago, and couldn't stand it.

I have never parallel parked a car.

Never parachuted out of a plane, played cards in a casino or bungee jumped.

Never put on false eye lashes, never done those gel nails, never had liposuction which is why I never worn a bikini!

I have never used an ATM or a cell phone. I didn't want such easy access to my money, and now it is embarrassing, frankly, that I don't know how to do such a basic task.

As for the cell phone, I was (am) too cheap and frankly I do not have enough to say to spend every minute walking anywhere and standing in any line, on the phone. That seems to be the necessity of the cell phone. Constant talking.

1. been to a strip club.

2. been to a bar alone, and almost never when not alone. Although New Orleans is home of the "drive through daiquiri" shops, I have never tried a daiquiri, drive through or not.

3. seen a "mosh pit" in real life.

4. had any part of my body pierced, even my ears. Likewise, I have never been tattooed.

5. had a pedicure.

6. been to a "Black Friday" sale

The more I think about this, the more I think I have done just about everything..... Well, I guess I have never been in the Peace Corps.

4. Been to India, Africa, Australia or New Zealand

5. Been admitted to a hospital as a patient (and want to avoid same as long as possible)

Up until recently, I could have said I never had a shot of Tequila by itself and not in a Margarita.

That was corrected, and man, I had been missing out... Oh well, better late than never.

Although I've travelled many, many times to Europe and other parts of the U.S., I have never been to either New York City or Los Angeles.

- Had even a sip of coffee.
- Had a cigarette or cigar or any other similar product.
- Used an i-anything. No i-pad,pod,phone or any similar product from any competitor. No kindle, no mp3, never even touched a smartphone or blackberry or anything like that beyond a basic cellphone
- travelled outside of North America. Only time I left the US was a family vacation at age 17 that included crossing the border to Canada by 10 miles for 2 days.
- Been to jail(other than visiting a friend) or in the back of a police car.
- Lived in a home over 1000 sqft
