New Orleans work group housing

We have connection to a work group heading to New Orleans and a last minute mix up has taken place with the housing arrangements they had set up while working on job sites as volunteers. Does anyone know of a church or similar that would consider providing sleeping space and kitchen space for a work group like this on very short notice? Thanks for any input.

When DW & I worked on a hurricane relief project it was in Biloxi. Had spaces under a football stadium and trailer dorms, all provided by the Salvation Army. Suggest you contact them.
Later we learned that some casinos and hotels had very special rates for relief workers. If I had known that I would actually have gotten some sleep Vs staying in the snoring chorus dorm trailer.
