Not sure. I did notice in a quick google that sports illustrated has a great series of photos of body painted models that shows some really impressive artwork. Probably obscene by the standards of this place, so no link.

Wikipedia also has a good entry on body painting with some different types and styles and some good bibliographic references too.

In all seriousness, there does seem to be some potential for some income on the side or as a part time career for the artistically inclined.

Never know, could add excitement to your life - or at the least some much needed alternative streams of revenue...

Nah, he'd want a tighter canvas--he'd be on the first plane to Rio, waving his brush....

LOL! That is a great line, BTW.
I could see the "help wanted" ad now. Steady hand needed....

My guess is that it would be treated similarly. As mods have pointed out, this is neither a site devoted to porn, nor art. It is devoted to the rather narrowly defined topic of getting and spending, with particular reference to retiring as a young person. To some this narrowness may itself seem pornographic, but those "some" are not in charge here.

Once I posted a bas relief that is seen on a wall in the South German town of Bodman-Ludwigshafen, featuring naked images of Angela Merkel, Gerhard Schroeder, Helmut Schmidt and others. It was not entirely uncontroversial in Germany, being decried by some as pornographic. The artist, Peter Lenk, said it represented "polical group sex". It as part of a tryptich, also featuring naked images of powerful German business leaders.

It was not at all well received here, which caught me by surprise as it isn't even attractive. Face it, these are all old people, who were not exctly hot even when young. It is obviously a political statement, not an attempt to be prurient. As the Lenk said at the time, "Politics is much more pornographic then any art".

The board is somehwat like one's lover. You know what the bounds are, and if they constrain, one needs to go elsewhere for the missing quality.

C'est la vie, n'est ce pas?

I like some of the company here, but a lot of good members have done just this already. Hopefully we won't see more of an exodus. Sometimes I wonder if the server load is too great and the powers that be are trying to thin the herd some to give the servers a break.
