OldAgePensioner - anybody run across him lately?

This is for the real old timers around here. There was something about the guy, the way he lived and explored in the big cities (San Francisco, Chicago, New York) that intrigued me.

He just popped in my head earlier today.

He had a pretty serious health issue. From the last few posts it sure didn't seem like he was gonna make it.

He survived for a few years at least as he showed up a couple dozen times here under different user names and tried to disrupt the forum before being repeatedly escorted to the exit. Guess he finally tired of playing "Whack-A-Troll" and gave up. Hasn't been spotted here for 2-3 years.

He was one of the worst trolls this forum ever had to deal with. He started off so fun & amusing, and so entertaining... and then turned so mean.

If you read his earlier posts, he was totally unready for early retirement. Once he posted about freaking out when his investment account balance dropped by $3000 and he realized he had no more paychecks coming in. Several long-time members tried to help him work through it but he turned jerk on them.

He was eventually declared cancer-free by the Mayo Clinic (his claim, anyway). He used to ruminate about his travel photos on various blogs over the years, but I haven't seen one lately. Don't know what he's up to.

Don't miss the uproar one bit.

I traded many emails with him a few years ago. He was doing much better health wise. Haven't heard from him lately.

I'm not familiar with the ruckus he created here, but I don't doubt he crossed and dove over the line for many. But his blogs were oddly fascinating. I also lost track, and think about what he might be up to from time to time. A character indeed.

You know, maybe it was his blogs I remember the more than his "contributions" here. He had a fascination with different types of food.

Actually, Nords, he might be in your neck of the woods. A simple Google search turned up the following blog entry:

Aaack, don't conjure him up! I more remember the utterly creepy pics of VERY young girls he would post, pictures that he would take on the streets as he traveled. Maybe one of them's dad finally caught him at it.

One of the blogs was from his days in San Francisco. The dates and neighborhood pictured on the blog were consistent with some of the details he posted here.

The Hawaii blog was dated 2011 IIRC. He lived near Ala Wai Harbour in Honolulu.

I think he caused this forum's policy of not allowing edits after a specific time period. I think he got annoyed and edited all his old posts to read "nm" for "never mind."

He liked young Asian women.

Hardly a unique interest- though with some of the pictures he shot I hoped they were actually older than they looked. Women are so active today it is very hard to judge how old they are until there is sufficient sun damage to give away their eyes, which can be mid- thirties.

I have seen women with 60 year old looking faces but in their Spandex workout clothes they look 30 from behind. A very attractive look.


Ha
