Online Video Experts?

So I double click a news video and rather than run the clip all I get is a blank video screen with a tiny muti-colored box in the top left corner. Advertisments flashing every where - no problem there - but no news clip.

Went to you-tube ... same problem.

Any ideas?

I updated quicktime, realtime and windows media player SW.

FWIW, I never had a problem watching this stuff until last week.

Thanx in advance!

Sounds like either a Memory problem or a Band-width issue.

If you have a Windows Operating System (I know nothing about Apple), then push the Ctrl/Shift/Esc keys all at the same time. Click on the "Performance" tab for a look at your computer's Memory.

Band-width is a matter of how you are connected to the Internet -- a dial-up connection, for example, would explain your situation. There are a number of online "connection speed" checkers... Google that.
