pssht. they now offer coca concentrate. comes as a white powder and I imagine you could just use as much as you want, probably starting with a little smidge and using more and more as time goes on..

Personally, I'm a rootbeer guy, but homemade colas have been around for as long as I can remember. Here's a recipe from 2008...
