Always sleep in the buff, even when thermostat at 50F (really nice comforter/sleeping bag).

Also don't like to wear shoes or bra.

Inport duty or underway-- khaki uniform or coveralls. You never knew when you needed to get up right now and wake up on the way to the emergency. Submarine stateroom/berthing areas are lousy places to try to get dressed anyways.

At home, during the frigid depths of Hawaii's winter when not even closed windows and a Vellux blanket suffice-- a t-shirt and socks. The rest of the year the windows are wide open and the tradewinds blow freely or else we'd wake up in pools of our own sweat.

Wearing PJs IS frugal--I cannot keep the thermostat below 60 at night without bundling up for beddie bye.

I can't stand something wrapping around my legs at night. I sleep only in the buff.

We're already under a down blanket, wool blanket, and poly-whatever comforter in the depths of winter here--hoping our new windows to come later this month will make a difference and we can start shedding something.

Seems like I remember a character on Seinfeld making a similar statement.

I voted for the alternative clothing.....usually a t-shirt or sweatpants.

I'm surprised at how many people were no clothing at all.

I like wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants instead of PJ's. I can go outside in the backyard, frontyard, wave at neighbors, and they all think I've been up all morning working in the yard or something (I'm sure I am not fooling anybody.. my hair is usually a big mess in the morning before taking a shower)

Can't sleep in the buff, but can't stand wearing PJs to bed either, so I just wear undies to bed. Around the house in the winter I wear sweats, and in the summer shorts & a t-shirt.

All of this said, I can't sleep without a "huggie pillow", and I always tuck the blanket and sheets between my legs.

DW on the other hand wears a full set of PJs to bed, but can't stand sleeping with her feet under the covers...they're always poking out, summer or winter, and I always cover them up for her when I get up for my midnight potty run...and she just kicks the blanket off again...
