Per mile car insurance?

I just found and advert for https://www.metromile.com/insurance which offers car insurance based on milage, but only yet offered in a handful of states.

Has anyone used them? what's your opinion? Or know of better alternatives?

Mywife and I work from home, and have VERY low car usage.

We just signed up with State Farm for mileage based rates. We received a 5% discount for signing up. Supposedly we will not be charged more, only less if we drive less than their allowances, so we will see. If we drive like we did last year we will get a continued small discount under this plan. We don't commute to jobs any longer but we do take more driving vacations and day trips these days.
