Top: Sandy protects our boat from attacking dolphins. (The most docile dog in the world, but he hates dolphins, ever since one sprayed him.)
Bottom: He rests up from his guard duty; his usual position when we weren't underway.

Funny, Jasmine barks ferociously whenever she see's fish on television. Any kind of water creature at all. She seems pretty mad at them at the time too. Never figured that one out.

Re: Pet Picture

The only time my dog even acknowledges the tv is if someone's smoke alarm is going off, you'd think it was in our house the way he freaks. I suppose that's not a bad thing if it doesn'e wake up either dh or I.

Re: Pet Picture

Doorbells or any loud knocking sound on tv, everyone heads to the front door. Fish are barked at ferociously. Any dog or cat is barked at with friendly enthusiasm with tails wagging. Show a dog for .08 seconds on television, that dog who appeared to be soundly asleep launches herself at the tv and stands on her hind legs, tail wagging, barking for it to 'come out of there and play'...

Ted prefers birds on tv. He actively tries to sniff them as they walk or fly across the screen.

Re: Pet Picture

My border collie is the same way with doorbells on TV. Every time I watch the show "House Hunters" and they ring the bell she takes off for the front door. If there is a dog on the TV show she will sit and watch the show. When she was a young pup her favorite show was "Babe". She would sit and watch the whole movie. Lassie is another favorite.

She is so peculiar. Absolutely petrified of loud noises or falling objects. Her favorite parking place is underneath my bed.

Ginger (aka jester) went crazy when fireworks went off for Christmas and New Years in our neighborhood. I never seen her so frazzled.

I'm deeply concerned that those dogs might be stealing our good american dogs jobs!
