I had forgotten that he was the younger brother of James Arness.
Numbers is hard.

Retired in 2005 at age 58, no pension

"Mission Impossible" was a show I just couldn't miss watching as a teenager. I made SURE my homew*rk was done so I could watch it.
His performance in "Airplane" was just fabulous. He took a big risk as a "serious" type actor switching over to a comedy role, according to an article I read today at Yahoo. That takes guts.
