I have experienced 40+ beautiful years of wedded bliss. And, 40 out of 44+ is not bad.

Someone was just telling us that he and his now legally wed spouse had been a couple for a total of twenty-five plus years, with eight years off for bad behavior.

Married 31+ years Before that, almost 7 years of dating (which contained a few breakups and living in different parts of the world for some time periods). It has definitely been worth it -at least for me, since I married way above what I deserve.

My first one was easy to remember too - May 6, 1978 or 5678. Oh well, I chalked it up to tuition.

Oops! Wrote that early in the AM. (Was thinking "half a year," as in six months.)

So, the correct answer is "35.5."

Thanks for pointing out my bad math, harley!

DH has never forgotten our anniversary. Maybe it helps that it is the same day as his birthday +24 years....
