I won't be watching the game, and have no intention of even watching the commercials. Even so, some of them generally filter through even to me, via news broadcasts about them and so on.

Now, I said I don't follow pro football, but about the Saints - - I do follow the Saints, to some extent. They have surpassed being just a football team, and have become the heart of New Orleans. They gave the city a focal point after the storm, bringing us hope and unity of purpose, and besides, who couldn't like Drew Brees? So, I care if they win (or lose as they did this year), but only because they mean so much to New Orleans.
Come on WTR....Don't you want to watch Katy Perry at halftime

I predict the retractable floor of the stadium will 'accidentally' retract whenever Seattle gets close to scoring.

My top 3 NFL teams are Broncos, Pats, Seahawks. I'm hoping the Pats will avenge last years Broncos thumping. Pats 31-14.

I was bummed when the Packers lost. So I don't really care who wins. I would be nice if it was close game. I hoping for good commercials. :-)

Since I don't like either team in the Super Bowl (broncos fan here), maybe I'll play unfantasy football for the super bowl
"Just like in regular fantasy football, you want to have the most points, but you're going to get the most points by having the worst stats. A touchdown results in -2 points. A fumble lost gets you +6 points, ie Tom Brady gets sacked, you get points!"

The only annual football game I care about already occurred on December 13th. I'll not need to watch another game until this coming December.

Not my cup of tea! But each to her own. Now, if they had Daniel Craig or Clint Eastwood (even at his age) out there strutting in skimpy clothes, I might be interested.

Actually I haven't watched a halftime show since college days.

Although the Pats beat the Bears 51-23 and the Packers beat the Bears by a bigger margin (55-14) and the Seahawks beat the Packers twice, I'm predicting the Pats to beat the Seahawks by 3.

Maybe the whole 'deflategate' thing is just an NFL stunt to increase attention on the game. Professional Wrestling and Madonna (and her current clones) have done this style of publicity to great effect in the past.
