Oh, this has made the hooper community rounds already. Very dizzying.
But pretty cool, too! I'd like to see this on a hoop with someone doing serious tricks!

Probably one of the miniaturized video cameras embedded inside the hoop. The cameras can weigh as little as a few grams and they're used in surveillance and hobbies like radio control model airplanes, boats, cars, and (Nords take note) submarines.

It is a Go Pro HD camera attached to the hoop. Here's a cool one using a Flip video camera inside a fire hoop.
