A gang of feral cats in France attacked a woman and her poodle on a stroll, sending both to the hospital.
From the linked article: Josette Galliot, the mother of the victim, said, "The cats jumped on my daughter and managed to knock her over. They bit her on the leg and on her arms. They even pierced an artery."

I believe it. My two cats both tend to bite when I ignore them. My vet hates to see my female cat come in (of course they never say it). But I picked her up from them originally! The coyotes seem to keep the feral cat population in check here.
No doubt a continuous prosperity, though spendthrift, is preferable to an economy thriftily moral, though lean. Nevertheless, that prosperity would seem more soundly shored if, by a saving grace, more of us had the grace to save.
