question about pest control fogger

My daughter had a couple of parakeets, they died suddenly last week. cause of death: bird mites. I found out this when I cleaned their cage and saw a bunch of them hidding in the crevices. Now I know why we've have been getting itchy bites recently. I also found some small colonies in areas close to the birdcage.

So went to homedepot and picked up some hotshot fogger. I covered all food-related items and set it off. Question: is it necessary to wipe off furnitures, change beddings after the fogging? My dad had a professional company do the fogging for his fleas problem a few months ago, and the guy told him no need to do that, but I feel kind of iffy.

I would suggest checking the label or contacting the manufacturer.
