Back in my last art class (8th grade - it was required) I had absolutely no talent. Still, I did okay on one assignment which was to produce a poster, hand lettered in Old English. I think the teacher gave me a decent grade because she loved the saying I used.

Those who think in inches
But talk by yards
Should be kicked by feet.

Think I've shared this here before. But I still love it after 50 years.

I've never heard that, but love it! Boy, that applies to a lot of blowhards I know!

The quote in my signature line, and:

"And this, too, shall pass away"

A quote Lincoln used in a speech, as part of an ancient story in which a monarch asks his men to come up with a saying that would be always true, in all times and all situations.
