Reason 641 Why FIRE is Wonderful

Just heard this "daffynition" on NPR:

Committee = a bunch of people who record minutes and waste hours.

Ain't that the truth! And I just gave thanks that I never have to serve on another committee again, such as for social stuff/"morale building"/ brainstorming/ etc.

I heard it this way:

Meeting - A gathering where minutes are kept and hours are wasted.

Brainstorming: Where the golden boys/girls get ideas from the geeks/nerds and present them as their own, thereby garnering praises and promotions.

And if you want to build my morale, don't make me go to meetings.

It all seems like a bad dream now.
