Me four. I think that we are going to replace our windows this summer and wanted to read about other people's experience on replacing them. Maybe someone should start a thread on it.

OK, so I want to do a restorable backup of my netbook w/WXP, oddly I have an external USB floppy drive but can't find a floppy disk and *hate* the idea of buying one, I threw out all my floppys long ago since this was an all Mac house until the netbook arrived.
Is there a free program like Mac Carbon Copy Cloner for the PC where I can make a complete copy to an external HD and then restore by just erasing and copying the external back to the internal HD if I have a problem?

Google "Bart PE" and "DriveImageXML"

Together they should do what you want (assuming your netbook has a DVD burner/player).
