Sorry, I mean no offense to the religious persons here, many of whom
I'm sure are very fine people and do many very fine acts in the name of
their religion ... BUT, please, don't be laughing at other religions.

Great post. It seems that there are two tides in the world. Economic (globalism, mega corps, workers including those who thought they were "professionals" caught in the meat grinder) and clash of religions. Unfortunately, we have a regime in power right now which is using the latter to fuel the former.

Just because a group of people are crazy, does not make everyone the same degree of crazy. I am going to assume that you are not familiar with Scientology. Even if you believe all religions are wrong (incorrect), comparing Scientology to any mainstream religion is like saying speeding and serial killers are both criminals and it is unfair to say one is worse then the other.

I agree that Scientology is pretty far out, but what about people who think the enlightened few are going to literally float up into heaven any day now. Then the AntiChrist will rule on earth - big battles, etc. And these same people continually remind the rest of us that there is some evil hearted deity up there who is going to cast us into eternal torture unless we prostrate ourselves before it. In fact, they terrorize little children with graphical theater depicting just such an end. How is that any less whacky than advanced Thetans teleporting to a moon of Saturn or whatever L. Ron Hubble dreamed up?
