Room 402

This has got to be one of the best stories I have read in a LONG time.

Be sure to read it all the way thru.... You won't regret it.

I've been looking for JUST this sort of story to help explain why I'm not a big fan of corporate religion...

Re: Room 402

My view of hospitals and dying has always been colored by George C. Scott's/Diana Rigg's 1971 movie The Hospital.

One time they called me - my Mother was dying - she was supposed to be in Rehab/PT for a broken leg getting training prior to release. When I got there - rushed to ICU - she was there - they sorta thought - but no records of dying - after some searching(half a day) found her in one of the wings - very chipper with no memory of drug reaction.

Apparently - they overdosed/gave the wrong drugs to the wrong patient/ or something.

No one ever admitted to calling me.
