Saving a Web Page - Need a PC Expert!

There are times when I want to save on Web Page on my PC. I have tried to use Save As, and it works except when I display the web page most of the images on the page are not there (show up as a 'Red X' in a Box).

So I have been using Prt Screen and pasting the Web Page in Microsoft Paint and saving the Image as a JPEG.

Is there a better way?

I am not sure this would give you the quality you want, but what I do is select all, copy, and paste to Word.

Cut - I right click on the page, select save page as, and save to desktop with type= Web Page, complete.

I get an icon on the screen, left double-click on it and the page appears in a window.

Print-to-PDF is probably your best bet. Short reply 'cause I'm in transit + on a Blackberry.

EDIT: Corrected "you're" -> "your". Apparently the Blackberry makes me stupid.

firefox - save page as --> web page, complete (for file type)

explorer - Save as --> web archive, single file (*.mht)

That usually works for me.

Thanks Justin!* - I was saving it as a Web Page Complete, when I saved it as a Web Archive Single File, all of my images also were saved!

Who would have thought that 'Complete' was not Complete!

Exactly what I needed!*

Hey, I was sitting at the airport waiting for a plane. What else are you gonna do? I usually don't post from it, but someone asked a tech question and I had to play geek.

If I want the pictures I'll use Firefox's "save as complete", but it's not perfect. If I want a good copy of the page I'll print to PDF. I forgot about IE's one-file system, but I'm not sure how portable it is...PDF is pretty portable. On the other hand you have to have software that can do it.
