The Yankees fans and the very few Red Sox fans who dare come out of the woodw*rk have been quiet for weeks.

I'm rooting for both teams to get the correct scores so we can win $100 on a baseball pool. Total investment was $7 for 1 box with different numbers for each game, and any potential winnings to be shared equally between Mr B and I. Each of us put in a $3.50 stake.

Oneida offered to replace 12 of my dinner knives for free if I return them for review. The knives are getting rust spots on the blades and they look terrible. I can't remember when I bought them (maybe 7 years ago) and I don't have my receipt but they didn't care. Cost me $8.50 to send them back via FedEx Ground (USAA account give 25% discount) which was cheaper than $9 for Parcel Post. A big savings versus purchasing new flatware!

No razzing tonight. Rangers were lucky to win that one. I was ready to ask for 2 scoops of sugar for most of the game.

Didn't gain any weight eventhough I spent 1 week visiting mum and siblings in home country (Malaysia). We ate a lot and I had no exercise. So, when I weighed myself after I got home, I was happy to note no gain in weight. That's something positive.

The Cub Scout den meeting where the boys assembled a box from a kit that I designed and manufactured was a rousing success. Imagine eight 8 yr olds with hammer, nails, screws and screw drivers working intently with their moms and dads. Great times!

I worked today (first day back), and I actually enjoyed it! I have a new job as an assistant teacher at a local physical therapy assistant school. So far, I've discovered that I LOVE teaching!

This week I have bought children's vitamins to take for my next trip to Cental America late November when we run another free mobile clinic there.

The assignment for my photography class was a window-lit portrait, the model was the toughest customer I've heard of (DW), and she liked it!

This is unheard of. She has never liked a photograph of herself.

I guess I did something right. Now if only I could figure out what it was....

Temp drop from 70's to 40's, yesterday to today. I can't get the thought of buying Halloween candy out of my head.

If I buy too early - you know who is gonna taste test.

heh heh heh - strung the light up Pumpkins and Bats around the front deck. Neighbors have all decorated their yards weeks ago.

Halloween is an excuse to buy 10X the candy any human being needs, bemoan the fact that 1200 kids didn't come to your door in 2 hours to get rid of it all, then throw up your hands and eat it all because "waste not, want not".........

For those of you who like to fish, this is a great time of year to do so. We are catching lots of Bass and I am heading out in the morning for another 3-day trip. Nothing like fresh fish right out of the Lake and into the pan.
Here is the menu......Fish and "cold frosty brew".
