Seniors' Revenge on Financial Advisor

These are some of the most brutal and thuggish old folks we've ever heard of. Four German retirees, who are all between 61 and 80 years old, reportedly bound and gagged their financial adviser, broke two of his ribs while savagely beating him, drove him in the trunk of their car to a lakeside house where they'd prepared a basement cell and forced him to sign papers stating he would refund their investments. You know how senior citizens can get about money, and the adviser had lost them millions in the U.S. property crash. Now three of them stand convicted of kidnapping and grievous bodily harm (the fourth's trial was postponed due to health issues), and all four of them make Betty White's "Off Their Rockers" gray-haired pranksters look like wussy little babies.

Well, it's probably a good thing the police took Bernie Madoff into custody when they did. I don't think he would have fared as well as this guy did.

Sounds like a combination of "nothing left to lose" and the baguette retirement tactic.
