I suggest you add the option of 'other' or 'none of the above' to each of the polls.

Thats not the poll I want to run.

If presented with these two options, I presume someone will vote for one of them, or abstain. Thats the info I think might be interesting...

Then add the abstain option.

I agree with CFB. One of these three is going to be our president. Abstain won't be taking office and anyone who abstains or writes in their favorite whatever has no impact on who does take office. Sorry, that is just how it is.

If you'd like a three/four/five way poll, run it!

So far it looks like Obama beats McCain, but Clinton doesnt.

Lets see how it goes when we reach the 50-60 vote critical mass

I think you just did.

Wouldn't it be great if federal/state elections had the "None of the above" option? Wasn't that tried in Texas a while back? Maybe it wasn't in effect for Bush's election...

I'm glad you had the other poll too. I walked past the ballot box on this one.

I saw a national poll on TV this morning which showed HC and JM tied at 46%, and BO beating JM 48%-41%.

Seems like on the basis of this poll, the democrats better run Obama against McCain...

So interesting results. The latest AP poll says that Clinton and McCain are neck and neck, and Obama barely beats McCain.

Our poll says that when Obama is running, he wins hands down and when Clinton is running, McCain wins.

Of course, maybe our strong ratio of men:women may explain why it went that way?

Bunch of grumpy old politically moderate, slightly left leaning men?

It may indeed be the male/female ratio.
My friend at the local Dem caucus reported standing next to a wealthy looking woman in a mink coat. It took my friend a few minutes to get up the nerve to ask her if she knew she had an Obama sticker on her butt.
She replied, "Oh, my husband!"
I guess I should check to see if you have demographic data about this group, but it's more fun to speculate.

How could she tell, since the woman had her pants on?

I didn't say she had pants on, I said she was wearing a mink coat. You're jumping to conclusions.
