See post #10 for one version of said "package". This version was told to me by a guy. YMMV

I think there are plenty of women out there that want someone in their life.

I am firmly in the camp of "I want a man", not "I need a man".
It makes all the difference.

By "needed", I meant financially. Maybe there's a better word for that.

By "wanted", I meant a man is respected as someone who makes life better.

How about respected, loved, and appreciated?

Want and need are so centered on the wanter and needer. Respect, love, and appreciation are more centered on the object of the respect, love, and appreciation.

But respect, love and appreciation are also other forms of needing..

Its ok to want all those things.

Or would those things be wanting..Why I guess its just one of them things..

TP, if you have never been to Ireland, then all the Irish people you have met who wanted to get out must have got their wishes, right? In fairness, your sample should include people who live there.
I worked in London for over a year, so I met a number who still lived there... but to be fair, it is still a small sample...

Funny thing is that a lot of people I know from NZ wanted to leave... but now are going back after 20 or 30 years living somewhere else...
