Two since college, innumerable before...

Although, at Megaconglomocorp, we were re-orged frequently, using a random acronym generator...

Held two "positions": technician, and staff flunky. Actually, staff flunky describes both...

One company, with 7 different distinct positions.

There have also been 3 part time jobs I have done to earn additional money, primarily tutoring/teaching for various community organizations which paid me to do the work.

1. 30 years with giant Megacorp. 5 different positions. Countless internal reorgs and mergers that increased my overall breadth of work within 3 of those positions but the j*b remained essentially the same (there was just more of it !).

For my techie c*reer only...
3 defense contractor companies + 1 govt lab = 4

the 1 govt job consisted of several reorganizations and transfers requested by me for broadening purposes. Those 4 changes were actually proactive boredom prevention for me

Grand total = 8
