I just found out that I got passed over for the promotion that was open in my prison. They gave it to a guy who I can remember training when he first started in the Bureau. And you know what?

"I'm as light as a feather, As, as...giddy as a schoolboy" Not quite dancing, but close.

I feel great!! The agency just made it VERY easy for me to walk away in only 291 calendar days. Even better, I won't have any guilt about using all ove my leave up before then.

I can't believe I'm happy about NOT getting a promotion?
I'm SURE this will help my GAD.

That's the spirit! And do use up all your leave time. A year after FIREing, I still regret that I hadn't used up six weeks of leave time....

Yep...seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is what counts. It's amazing how matters lose their importance when you have set your goal.
