Hey...I love that song now. I don't often hear it on the radio however.

I do have a Monkees album...maybe I should get it out and blow the dust off it...

Cher. Damn. Wish I didn't like this one so much. Grew up with her. Sonny and Cher show, all that stuff. And her performance in Mask. Who could forget that? She's fastinating.

Agreed. And she really surprised me with her performance in Moonstruck too.

That sensitive ballad by those touchy-feely guys who were expressing their most heartfelt loving emotions, as well as wearing stage makeup that helped them stay close to their feminine sides:

"Beth" by KISS.

How's this for a guilty pleasure? An incredible voice, a great melody, a catchy beat...too bad he was so screwed up.

There goes my music cred.

Oh, Harley...that is a good guilty pleasure! I don't know if I would have admitted that. My favorite teen heartthrob was Paul Young, of Every Time You Go Away fame.
But my most surprising favorite of current musicians is Marshall Mathers -such witty lyrics.

That's real nice. Here's a ragtime improvisation by Tom Brier and Adam Swanson that has a couple of boogies in it, too:

This song was played over and over and over on the radio. Most of her songs sound the same to me, but I thought of this one tonight. I like it.

La Marseillaise in Casablanca. Every time I see this part of the movie I find something has landed in my eyes, causing them to tear up.
