It's my party and I'll define the colors if I want to
Colors that you could get a car or truck in of some year, or spray paint, etc. So Black and White are included, and don't forget about the colors of metals.

There sure are, but none of them are in the title

There is a lot of low hanging fruit left! And there is a hint for at least one song...

Just to show that I'm not just some old fogey, I came across a good color song listening to something else on youtube, this one was in the suggestions column on the right. What a smooth voice! Sorry it's on Vevo, you may have to kill the commercial:

An old song that some might remember. It has been sung by many, but this simple, sweet, old fashioned version appeals to me tonight.

Here's a twofer - a color in both the band name and the title. One of my favorites from back in the "do a doobie and sit around listening to music" days.

Since I didn't see this color yet, from just a few years ago:

Behind these Hazel Eyes, by Kelly Clarkson.

Too new?

I was a junior in high school when this song came out. Fond memories of cruising with my friends playing it at full blast.

Keep'em coming!

....There's fruit, at least one musical instrument, a lost stash, rivers, a number in the 90's, a band that played at the Fillmore East but should have stayed away from Macon, something that bounces, a piano player and a car, what a bee does...

okapi got the musical instrument --> Green Tambourine

There's a fruit one still, top 40 song with the line "and it don't rain in Min-inn-apolis in the summertime".

The lost stash is still lost. It was used years later as a movie theme song.

Surprised no one got the 'band that played at the Fillmore East but should have stayed away from Macon' yet. Two hints in that one

The piano player singing about his father's car is still out there, as is a bouncing object and a song by what a bee does...

There's also a song from a famous British band about a miscreant student.

Here's a song I just thought of:
