Storm Pictures

Pretty good sized storm here, although I heard it was worse further south. Lightning is unusual here, but we had a strike very close to us that's the loudest one I ever heard.

Waves were up to 35 feet -- here are some pictures of an attempted salvage of a crab boat that got loose. This beach normally has very small waves. When I took these shots the boat was full of water. I didn't stick around, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lost that portable crane thing as well as the boat.

Al, those are some scary photos. I hope the tow driver knew what he was doing. I just saw this posted on another forum and immediately thought of you:

"DO Not let a tow truck pull you out by the hitch. It is not rated for it. I had a friend who did what you did and when the Tow got there pulled the hitch right off the back and did alot of damage to his beaver."
