WBGO.org is a wonderful jazz station from Newark NJ that has a fantastic early morning sunday. Try it.

No doubt that familiarity made for a comfort zone that has all but dried up down here in north carolina. You make where you are as comfortable as possible.

That said NC is not the panacia that many make it out to be. It has its warts like everyplace in the country. You cannot run away from any of it.

Suburban sprawl, is the same everyplace. Now it sure is much cheaper to live down here.

I am just now getting my ER legs, did a bunch of track coaching the last three months and sub taught when I felt like it.

Maybe a trip back up north later this month some old friends are on the radar.

Next up is a trip to the Blue Ridge MTns and some hiking and camping.
