Sunrocket going out of business

I know there are a bunch of posters who use the service, so heads up. SR pretty much has closed up shop and laid everyone off.

Some people are still getting some level of service, others have lost their voicemail or can only call some areas. Probably a week or less before it all goes belly up.

Some other VOIP providers are offering to take SR customers and honor at least part of the prepayment they made for SR service. Unfortunately, since theres nobody at SR to call and release your old phone number for porting, it may be gone.

Check this for some spotty reports, data, unlocking your sunrocket 'gizmo' to use with other compatible services, etc.

Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Just another form of "buy low, sell high" for those who have trouble with things. This rule is not universal. Do not buy a 1973 Pinto because everyone else is afraid of it.
