Re: Super Bowl

Like the other 98% of Americans (and Canadians I'm sure)* I'm a serious Dallas Cowboy fan.

But---in the number two slot we have the STEELERS!!
What exactly is a seahawk anyway

Re: Super Bowl

I'm rooting for the Colts. (Don't tell me...I haven't watched it on Tivo yet.)

(okay, I don't really have Tivo and I know what happened...yuck)

Um, not sure who I'll root for. Being in Indy I have a sore spot for the Steelers the past 3-4 years. I used to think the Seahawk logo looked really neat, but I guess I haven't given it much consideration lately.

If the Steelers do win it will be an impressive win...on the road (almost) all the way through the playoffs. Maybe they wanted to do it the hard way.

Re: Super Bowl

Grew up in Pittsburgh with the '70s Steelers. About the only time I pay attention to football anymore is if the Steelers make it this far. Luckily Bradshaw won't be taking the field at this game (I hope).

That's about right. Build up a comfortable lead in the first two quarters, get cocky in the third, blow it all and spend the fourth scrambling to catch up. Those sort of clutch performances are self-imposed.

I learned from a classmate last week that I really didn't want to know how to make black & gold jello shots. Let's just say that they were the life of the party all night and the next day too...

You better hope I never meet you man...its probably been a long time since you had a nice noogie

I have no skin in this one, except that my dad likes the steelers. I like the idea of the underdog, but I can think of one little pecker that'll be mad if the steelers lose, so I think i'll root for the seahawks.

Both good teams, hopefully it'll be a good game. But that was the case last week...

I *will* make sure that I watch the whole game before looking at any web site at all, as I should have known the scores would be broadcast in real time on an early retirement site. Although I think that guy got excited and was trying to go to early-ejaculators.org and mistyped...but that can happen when you're trying to web surf while watching those macdonalds fry cook training tapes in the back room...

Saints would be there if Katrina had not punched a hole in the Super Dome.*

Never, never, never - give up hope. Remember the Boston Red Socks - yeah it was baseball - I know.

Bought some nice 'official' Saints T shirts on sale over the internet this year.

Re: Super Bowl

Big Cowboys fan, natch.But... If I had to pick the winner, probably the Steelers. They're better overall, and the SeaBirds will be wide-eyed just getting there. Steelers and probably a rout, at that. The Tuna will have Da Boys there, next year (I hope).

Would that be the Steelers underdogs because they were a #6 seed?

Or would it be the Seahawks who are 4 point underdogs in the predictions?

Glad I'm going skiing this weekend - the anticipation is killing me!

Re: Super Bowl

I lived near Pittsburgh when I was a kid so I have some fond memories of Pirates baseball and Steelers football. I would like to see the Steel Curtain that this one. I am not against the Seahawks, I am just for the Steelers.

Heh, I will be *rooting for the Steelers, but as in many of the past 5 years, I will be on vacation during the game. *We actually only heard about the "wardrobe malfunction" after we got back from vacation that year.

I really enjoy watching football, but it doesn't compare to hiking through a tropical rainforest, Carribean snorkeling, and drinking rum.

Re: Super Bowl

I have some fond memories of past Superbowls. My best one was the 2004 one. While the breast exposure was "cute" , what made this one the most memorable was that was the first time I met my wife to be. We were IMing on a dating site when we "met". The rest is history.

Re: Super Bowl

Dang, I kept thinking it was Cube_rat posting, not th and I was thinking, "wow, CR is into football, got some fire in her belly, too. This chick is all right!" Now the realizations makes me feel like I need a shower. Hey Cute Fuzzy Bunny, no I don't want to go see Brokeback mountain with you! :P

Rooting for Steelers, I'm a Bronco fan, so I follow a simple decision tree of

Broncos in it? if not, AFC West team? If not, AFC team.

But I will shed no tears either way.
