Re: TATTOO!!!

I remember sitting in a Restauarnt in the Boulderado Hotel in Boulder, and a sweet 18 something young lady sat down, really very cute, ingenue type.

She had tatood her whole lower jaw, I could not stop my self from staring, it was as if someone had taken a paint brush to the Mona Lisa, God had been so kind in her features and she had totally ruined her face.

Newer Laser Technology will adress the removal issue, these boys go where the money is.

Look for Syneron(ELOS) or another company to adress the issue.

I waited until my features had some wear and tear on them, then got tattoos on my ankles. It's a tradition in my family. Those babies are never coming off. I told my husband it will make it easier to identify my body in case I drive the car off a cliff.

Re: TATTOO!!!

My Brother and his wife tatood their wedding bands on, as a sign of their everlasting love.

6 months later, they split.

Dick Couch, an author and a retired SEAL, followed BUD/S Class 228 through their training and wrote a book about it.

Based on the class attrition and his personal observation, he speculates that the magnitude of a person's self-esteem is inversely proportional to the number of tattoos they have on their hide.

The BUD/S graduates, about a dozen left out of more than 200 candidates IIRC, had a total of zero tattoos. Not the typical sailor image...

Hi Howard,

Removal or eradicaton seldom happens. There are so many variables inks, depth, color (imagine after a year or 2 all the colors came out except one), and the ability of the candidate's immune system to finish what the laser starts. Individual outcomes can't be accurately predicted. New "bright" inks have all kinds of ingredients that defy laser treatments. Tattooing is big business now. Decades ago there might have been a parlor within a fifty mile radius. Now there are all over. Selling them supplies is a competitive industry.

Tattoos are permanent. Laser treatments are an attempt to break up the ink. How your body reacts to that attempt is anybody's guess. Most do ok, after a year or so, but few do better than just ok. Try telling that to mama after baby boy got F^%$ Y#$ tattooed on his forehead last Saturday night. "A year! But, but grandma is coming for Easter!!!!!"

Thats easy. He wears a hat that covers the tatoo...and the stitches...until the year expires.

Stitches...right! If you're "lucky" enough to pick the right place for your tattoo, you can have it excised (cut out). Here today...gone tomorrow.

Re: TATTOO!!!

I like the tatoos on the young ladies at the gym. I'm surprised at how many of them have a tatoo on their backside. I imagine it's a treasure map!

Actually I was thinking of the stitches he'd need after I rapped him in the head for having that tatoo'd on it, which would match the ones I'd have on my head from ramming it into a wall for being so stupid as to have raised a child who would do that.

But yeah, if its in the vicinity, I guess we could go for a little early 'face lift'...
