Hi Matjac, I was a Levittown baby from the early 50's. My Grandparents had a home in Rocky Point. We went to Bethpage Park for family picnics with family that lived on LI. I remember the playground at Bethpage was to die for.

Can't remember what I did yesterday, but have warm fuzzies about the past.

Funny but I looked at the pictures before I read what you said about them. I said wow, that looks like Bethpage Restoration. I lived on LI for 58 years so they brought back memories. Thanks!

Thanks, Mathjak! I spent some happy days at Old Bethpage Village with my small son and some of his friends. I used to live in Syosset...friend and her twins in Woodbury. Such a nice place to come with the kids for a day. Another of our favorites was the playground on the beach in Oyster Bay and Planting Fields Arboretum.
