That's all Folks!

Don Meredith on Monday Night Football singing 'Turn out the lights, the party's over' came to mind as I left yesterday. Maybe it's true that all good things must end but sure had a heck of a run and now looking forward to some new and better things. What a great feeling, slept well last night. I'm sure it will take a couple of months to sink in.

Lots of good songs to express the feelings. I can remember singing 'We Gotta Get Out of this Place' by The Animals years ago before I finally decided to leave my first job for greener (i.e. less stressful) pastures.

Thanks for all of the sentiments. Cheers.

A few songs expressing more or less similar feelings:
  • Fleetwood Mac, "Go Your Own Way"
  • Guess Who, "No Time"
  • Johnny Paycheck, "Take This Job and Shove It"
  • James, "Born of Frustration"
  • Christie, "Yellow River"
