Marijuana may stave off Alzheimer's

New research shows that the active ingredient in marijuana may prevent the progression of the disease by preserving levels of an important neurotransmitter that allows the brain to function.

Yep, the mechanism of action is that it destroys your memory long before alzheimers has the chance to do it.

I don't remember where I saw this, but I recently heard that smoking doobies could actually help prevent Alzheimer's disease.

Yeah, I was just posting on some web forum for older folks that apparently smoking pot can help prevent Alzheimer's.
