Golf prodigy, 11 Year old competing in the U.S. Women's Open...

Decked out in red, white and blue, a smiling 11-year-old Lucy Li arrived at the 10th tee to begin her historic round Thursday in the 69th U.S. Women's Open at Pinehurst No. 2.

With an opening drive that found the native area rimming the fairway, Li, all 5-1 of her, went on her merry way.

She beat 30 other older players in the 1st round. I don't expect her to make the cut but she has already wildly exceeded my expectation.
