The AHA moment

DUH

It's usually embarassing 'cuz of course, "I should have known....".

So to leave vanity behind, today's AHA moment.
.................................................. .......

At least three times on this board, I have asked for recommendations for a computer notepad that was flexible and easy to use... tabs, easy save, minimal options like letter size, cut/paste, search, find and replace... but not too overdone. Not only did I plead for help here, but drove my kids crazy trying to find the right program.

Today, I looked at the free notepad that I've been using since the year 2000.
Edit Pad Classic... which is now called Editpad Lite... I had never looked at the "help" page... and yes... of course... it has all of the features I wanted, but I had never opened the toolbar.
.................................................. ..

... did/do you ever have an aha moment?

Whew, I thought AHA meant American Heart Association. Glad you are OK!

Sounds more like a "doh" moment.

I have plenty of those.

Is this like the guy who returned his new chain saw because it cut so badly...when the salesman started it up to see what was wrong, the guy said: "what's that noise?"

DH has them all the time. They can be very entertaining.
