Hmm, this one popped into my head last night...

I was hitting on a woman I met at a party and she decided to try a new maneuver on me. She said as far as she was concerned, the measure of a mans interest could be proven by whether or not he was willing to turn her compost pile for her. Sure, make your own joke.

So I told her "I know how to build a compost pile that doesnt need turning. Be glad to get started on that for you in the morning."

i invested in two of those heavy duty black plastic tumbling composters when they were on sale at the end of the season. i live in the country and foraging critters are an issue. one is quite large and up next to the house for easy access and continuous kitchen waste. the smaller one is right in the garden, but i do not put weeds gone to seed into it. i use the cold process and add microrganisms as needed. they should be nice and ready this year.
No-Nos: no dairy, no meats, no bones, no seafood shells, no diseased green stuff
OK: some non-inked paper, coffee grounds with filters galore, all fruit peels and skins, fresh veggies, eggshells.
