My girlfriend brought this movie home last night. I didn't think I'd like it but it was fantastic -- even on our 19" crt. Morgan Freeman narrates. Nature loving folks with large screen TVs will especially enjoy this film.

Yep

Didn't think I'd like it either - good flick.

heh heh heh

I enjoyed it too.  It's incredible how much they've adapted to the harsh conditions and how much work it takes from both male and female to survive and protect the egg.

I enjoyed it too for the same reasons mentioned by the previous posters.

Also 2 thumbs up! - I'm a nut for remote places and wildlife! :p

I didn't think it was all that good - it seemed to go on forever and ever - but I must qualify my opinion; I saw it on a trans continental flight . . . on a 13 inch tv . . . packed into the center seat.

We enjoyed it also. They are dedicated parents!

The idea of monogamy for 12 months, then changing mates is somewhat compelling. But definitely not worth being huddled with a group of guys in the freezing cold for 3 months with no food.
