The Most Expensive Coffee (from animal droppings....really!)

Sells for between $120 and $600 per lb. and is gotten from animal droppings

Rare Kopi Luwak Gourmet Coffee

Not only would my frugality keep me from buying this coffee "dung" - the thought of where it had traveled while drinking it would over-ride any extra "earthy" or "musty" favors......I wonder who was the first person to try this process....and what he was thinking?!
Imagine trying to sell that in starbucks! :-P

I don't see the problem. That's how I get some of my corn. I just reuse the "leftovers" that are still mostly intact.

to be serious for a moment (sorry) ... i was recently given some as a gift (I like coffee). it was quite good. i'd not pay the price, but it was good. any time your in the neighborhood, feel free to stop in for a cup!

Goes to show ya... if you price something high enough, someone will be willing to pay it ... and tell you about it for years ....

ya gotta love creative marketing ... they can even give sell you sh*t for $600/lb
