Here's a video clip of an embarrassing moment for Brad Pitt as he filters through traffic to escape paparazzi.

Cold weather setting in, and and I found that wearing a thick balaclava (thinned where the helmet fits) makes all the difference in the world. A few days ago I had to scrape the frost off the seat when I got off from work and still took the long way home just to enjoy the ride.

Current riding gear is so much better than what I remember from the '70s!

Now the problem is the face shield fogging up on the full-face helmet... I'll try some of those magic "anti-fog" potions and see if they work.

I remember putting newspapers inside the front of my jacket in the '60s.

Not breathing is the only thing that has worked for me. That's a short term solution though.

CAUTION: Remember that cold tires don't have anywhere near the adhesion they do when they're hot. Clean dry cold pavement can provide for some slippery surprises. That smile inside your helmet goes away pretty quickly when the hand grips hit the ground.

Walt, The only thing that cured my fogging was Pinlock. It's expensive. But, it works very well!
