My sentiments exactly. I have one child and he will inherit the bulk of my estate with small bequests to my sister and 3 close friends. My son appears completely disinterested in my finances. He has a good job and is self supporting. Probably saves more than I do. I would be very irritated if he appeared presumptuous in relation to any future inheritance. I should give some thought to a bequest to the local animal rescue organization and also the public library. I donate to them heavily throughout the year in my late husband's name.
